Barcelona Disembarcation

Hi All --

 

Quick question: Typically on Regent: When can you expect to be off the ship? Our final port in May is Barcelona; staying for a few days post cruise. Just trying to figure out when we can reasonably expect to be free to tour once we drop our stuff at the hotel.

Generally you are off of the ship between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. This depends upon when the ship arrives in port and how long it takes for the ship to be cleared by local authorities. Since you don't have a flight to catch, they may have you in the group that gets off towards the end (not a bad thing. . . . less crowds:-)

If your cruise is the Voyager one docking in Barcelona at 0700 hrs, you can expect to start disembarking around 0800, maybe even before. If you have your own arrangements for transfer to your hotel you could be one of the first off. The docks are close to the central hotel area, so mid morning you should be sightseeing. In fact, I suggest you could treat yourselves to a good, leisurely breakfast and amble ashore ready for a hard few days seeing the sights, of which there are plenty.
