HI, we are Elite on Princess, we will be sailing on the Ruby next February, and then when we get off the ship we will be going over to the Niew Amsterdam, we sail quite a bit but does anyone know what you do in this situation, meaning we will try and stay on the Ruby until the latest time around 10AM and then go over to the Niew Amsterdam, do we just take a taxi over to the other pier and wait or can anyone give some suggestions. Yes - you will have to take a taxi from the pier where the Ruby docks over to where the Nieuw Amsterdam docks -- which is usually pier 26. It is too far to walk.

Once you get to pier 26 -- drop off your luggage and get in line -- the doors usually open at 11.

Thanks for the info, we usually walk when we do back to back on Princess and Holland is further away, mostly is what do we do with our luggage, but if there is a drop off as you say then we shouldn't worry

There is a drop off -- no problems.

Take a taxi, hand over your luggage to the stevedores and you should not have a terribly long wait assuming the ship arrives back in FLL on time.
