Denverite Posted March 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2012 We are thinking of this trip on the Rotterdam that is called the 14-day Iberian Explorer. It appears to be heavily marketed to Europeans since most tours are listed not only in English but also in German or Dutch. Using the search function I found someone else who was concerned about a June trip and asked the same questions. Someone was able to check and determined that the majority of cruisers were in fact Europeans. That is okay but I just wanted to be prepared if all the announcements, etc. are going to be in various languages. I'm guessing it is too early to determine passengers for this trip but would HAL give me this information later or would a TA have that information? I just remember taking a canal cruise in Amsterdam and hearing all the languages. By the time they got to the English translation, we had already passed what they were talking about! Thanks. Krazy Kruizers Posted March 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2012 I would suspect that HAL would start with English first -- then Dutch. We did a cruise years ago on Princess through the fjords -- English was first.
CruiserBruce Posted March 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2012 Looking at excursions for many of the Baltic area ports for this summer also have the descriptions in Dutch as well as English.
