Hi everyone, just wandering what is the average that a person spends with the Sail & Sign? I am leaving 5-1 on the Victory and I am trying to determine how much cash to put in the bank to cover the sail & sign tab and how much cash to have in pocket for casino, islands, etc. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!! :)

We have been on 4 cruises and our Sign and Sail card has been between $700 - $1,200. Really depends on the person - drinks add up fast, massages start around $90.00 and up. Items from the gift shops, shore excursions, etc. I think I read on these boards, the average a person spents is $100 a day.

As far as cash in your pocket - you can use your sign and sail card in the casino. For the islands, it depends on what you want to buy - you can spend as much or as little as you want. We have taken $1,000 in cash but end up bringing some of it home. A lot of places will accept credit cards if you don't want to take a lot of cash. It is good to take smaller bills, ones & fives for local vendors and tips. Hope this helps.

Since everything you purchase on the ship goes onto your S&S account, it would depend on...

1) How much you drink

2) How much you spend in the gift shop

3) How many excursions you want

4) How many photos you purchase
