Is Dig still free late night?

Three years ago we were at the Atlantis and, after a certain time (9 PM?) the Dig was free. Anyone know if that's still true?

They seem to go back and forth on this on a whim. Some times they are allowed.. and some times there are security guards. If you are planning on being near Atlantis (marina, casino, etc).. then check it out, but I wouldn't make a special trip just for this.

Last year security was gone at 8p and we walked around because our ship over nighted and we were looking for something to do. I wasnt impressed with the Digs and we were asked a couple of times when on the grounds if we were staying on property. We just told them we were leaving and headed to the casino. If you are already there you can look at the entrance to see if security is posted.

Thanks for the replies. If we head in, it would only be to show the place to one couple who's never seen it. FOR SURE we don't want to pay to see the Dig. Taxi will already be $20 per couple R/T.

 

Might just stay on the ship. If anyone visits and can report on the "freeness" of the Dig, I'd love to know.
