September or October, better weather??

Recommended Posts

Can't speak for October, but September, was very hot and very humid. It wouldn't stop me from taking another Caribbean cruise in September though. Seas were very calm and the thunderstorm we experienced while leaving Labadee was gorgeous to watch while sailing through it :D. Enjoy your cruise

Aside from hurricane season reason a lot might depend too on where a person is coming from. If far north October could be getting cool enough to make a warmer climate more enjoyable (before returning to the freezer:(). But... less chance too of school breaks in September. Many school systems have teacher workshop breaks that families plan vacations around so researching those for all states can be useful if wanting fewer kids on the ship.

Our last cruise was in October in the western caribbean and I remember the sea being the calmest I've ever seen on it on any of our cruises. Maybe it was just that week.
