Hi all! We’re heading to Cozumel this August for one of our stops. We’re not planning any excursions this day and want it to be a relaxing beach day…with yummy drinks of course! My question for you….I was thinking of doing paradise beach from reading some of the reviews on here (but please, offer any other suggestions if you’d like!)

How far is paradise beach from the port/How long of a cab ride?

Approx. how much will the cab ride be?

How do you go about getting a cab there?

Do they have a bar on paradise beach?

Are the drink prices reasonable?

Anything else about Paradise beach I should know…?

Thanks so much!

How far is paradise beach from the port/How long of a cab ride? 15 minutes

Approx. how much will the cab ride be? $15 for 1-4 passengers - share the ride with others and save $$

How do you go about getting a cab there? Lots of cabs lined up at the pier.

Do they have a bar on paradise beach? Yes - and waiters!

Are the drink prices reasonable? Beer is $4-5 each (cheaper if you buy a bucket) and frozen drinks are about $7+

Anything else about Paradise beach I should know…? $2 for a chair/lounger, another $12 if you want to play on the water toys. They ask that you spend at least $10 on food and drinks per person.

Thanks so much!

You should also look at Mr. Sanchos - same cab fare, just up the road from PB. They have both a pay-as-you-go (like PB) side and an all-inclusive side (for about $50 you get all you can eat and drink for the day).

Good luck! :)

The Ocean beach vip cozumel is a nice choice to get away from the crowded commercial beach clubs!

I would like to hear more about Ocean Beach VIP Cozumel,

the website says they are "The Latest Beach Club in Cozumel"

http://www.cozumel-watersports.com/excursions/vipoceanbeachclubbreak.html

is this true?
