landingsduffer Posted April 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2012 We are new to Regent and are booked on a Baltic cruise in late August. When it is time to make dinner reservations, can you book the specialty restaurants for more than one night? Do you need/or should you make reservations for compass rose. We are a couple traveling by ourselves.
nana541 Posted April 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2012 You are able to book reservations for one evening in each speciality Resturant, Prime 7 and Signatures, don't need reservations for CR.. We have never had to wait for a table for 2, you just can't always get a window table. Pre book the specialty restaurants as soon as bookings open to your catagory, do not delay if you can help it and have a second choice of times ready too! txladycruiser Posted April 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2012 You can make one reservation for each specialty restaurant online. When you arrive on your ship, you may check for more availability in each restaurant. Compass Rose doesn't take reservations. You will usually be seated immediately but on a few occasions, may have to wait a few minutes. Enjoy your cruise! Karen
poss Posted April 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2012 And remember that it can be very pleasant to join a table with other folks: table for 4, 6, etc. E.g. sometimes in CR, there's a bit of a wait (never very long) for a table for two, but if you're interested in sharing a table, there may be one available. We're not especially social people, but we've much enjoyed sharing tables on occasion in Compass Rose.
