Radiance to Alaska

Recommended Posts

The last time I was on RCI in Alaska, they did trot out Baked Alaska as a special treat for Alaska. (Just no flames) Salmon is the farmed stuff and King Crab does not happen. However.. there are some wonderful local places to eat on shore that all have the real seafood and it is about as fresh as it can get. Yummmmm.

Yep- the salmon on board is not Alaskan. Head to a salmon bake, which offers good salmon. For some fantastic halibut, eat at the Showcase in Seward- hopefully you have time there anyway- wonderful place. Also Chilkoots and Rays for excellent meals.
