Nieuw Amsterdam Adjoining Rooms & Sofas

Do adjoining rooms on Nieuw Amsterdam come with a sofa/loveseat? Or is it a chair? I'm considering booking an oceanview guarantee. Considering this ship for February 2013 and it would just be myself & DH but we enjoy a sofa over a chair. I know it's a crazy question but we do spend time in the room and if it costs a little more to handpick our room we'll do just that.

I don't know what the situation would be with an oceanview, but with our VD balcony the door between the cabins was at the foot of the bed and not anywhere near the sofa/loveseat.

The only thing you would lose in an adjoining room is one closet. You will still have the love seat or sofa:)

Most all cabins come with a sofa not chairs.

The only thing you would lose in an adjoining room is one closet. You will still have the love seat or sofa:)

Joanie, there could not have been a closet where the door is - there would be no way to get around the bed

Thanks everyone for the responses! You're all a helpful bunch. We don't pack like we used to, so having less closet space isn't a big deal.
