Galveston Port

I know I read that Galveston port smuggling is worse during Spring Break, but how about during other times. I plan on buying from BV as well, but wanted to take some stuff in Rum Runners that they don't offer. I have already purchased my RR, but not sure if they will make it. If not, no big deal I guess.;)

Technically, I grew up in NY so maybe it doesn't count.:D (I am a transplant to Tx) Yes, just wondering if my Rum Runners will make it to the room. If the luggage isn't locked do they just take them out and leave a note or do you have to go make the walk of shame to the luggage room.
