That is a SERIOUS health violation.I'm sure if one of the supervising chefs saw that someones head would roll.

 

It may be a violation, but if the server put the meat on a plate, and the person bringing it to the grill station touched nothing but the plate in carrying it - then it would be as clean and safe to eat as if they had sat down to consume the meat at a table.
