"Hello

We are excited to hear you will be cruising aboard the Carnival Splendor!

We would be happy to extend a Standard Bon Voyage package which will be delivered to your stateroom upon embarkation."

Received this from the players club, does anyone know what the " Standard Bon Voyage package" would be?

TIA

The fruit basket is the Premium Package as you can see below:

We’re excited to welcome you on board! The Premium package includes a free photo coupon, fruit basket with wine, and 2 waters! Have a wonderful time on board!

I received the Standard Bon Voyage Package in October. It was Chocolate Covered Strawberries and a Picture Coupon. I don't eat Strawberries but my friends thought they were delicious.

This is the premium not the standard the OP is asking about

This is based on the number of points you accrued on your previous cruise (within two years), right? If I used my Sign and Sail Card, am I automatically a member of the Player's Club?

It was based on two years but I thought I read here that now its based on your last cruise only. I'm not sure but as long as you gambled and put your S&S card in the slot machine or was rated at the table games, they should have info on you.

It came out right, I was just posting to confirm to the other poster who said it was wine so they would know the difference since I showed both the emails I have received stating exactly what each package contained.

Prior to our last cruise in February, I emailed Ocean Players and gave them my past guest number, and my husband's, and our booking number, ship, sailing date and cabin number. I'm a very modest player, might spend $300 total on a 7-day, but I did get the standard package, which was a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and a $15 photo coupon! I was tickled to get this! I was so excited to get the chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room, I forgot to tip the delivery person!!

It took a while to get an answer to my email, about 3-4 weeks, but I think it's worthwhile to contact them.

I have recently gone to their website and the place where you 'email' them about your next cruise seems to be gone. Any ideas? Only thing I can find is phone numbers for CCL.

Thanks! I've always emailed in the past.

Post #5 above, I put the email addresses I received my emails from. Try them. Good luck

I emailed them with no problem lst year and got the package. We are gamblers and this year got a great rate plus $100 casino cash. Yea!! This came in the mail as a special VIP Casino rate. I have been getting those since last year and finally got a chance to take them up on their offer.

I still can't figure out what rewards are based on. My last cruise was only 3 nights last spring and I traveled with 3 non gamblers so spent very little in the casino. Cruise before that in Jan 2011 I spent a lot of time and $$ in the casino. Four or five months ago I received letter offering great rate for a cruise as well as $100 coupon for casino. It sure couldn't have been based on amt spent in casino on my most recent cruise. Looking forward to using my coupon on the Pride in Sept.
