Air included-San Diego to Ft Lauderdale- mistake?

Booked what I thought was a great price- including air from San Diego to Ft Lauderdale for Panama Canal cruise. Usually book my own air. When checking air schedules either find it is a very long flight (20 hr travel time for a 5 hr flight) or else gets in too late- 5pm for a 4:40 sailing? Help! Anyone know what Celebrity is doing right now for 1 way eastbound air? When I called choice air I got a high quote on a long red-eye- not at that price!

I assume you live close to San Diego and only need airfare one way?

For my flights from MN to FLL and San Diego to MN for my panama cruise, Choice Air was only $18 more than booking it myself. Leaving one day before cruise and flying home the day we arrive in San Diego.

I would cancel Choice Air, and book your own flight. Southwest flies into Ft. Lauderdale. Or possibly Jet Blue from Long Beach. But I would make sure to travel one day in advance. Most flights are not direct, and it could make for a very long day, and you could possibly miss your embarkation. JMHO
