Cruise_More_Often Posted May 17, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Which side of the train is best when travelling from Seward to Anchorage? Thanks in advance for your helpEither side. The best view changes constantly. We just took the train the opposite direction this morning, and we spent more time on the open-air observation car than we did in our seats. If you can afford it, book Gold-Star Service. It is FIRST CLASS. The car you are seated in is an observation car. There is an open-air car behind it, and a private dining car below. What a trip!!!!!!! I must have taken 200 photographs.
piratesmate Posted May 17, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Do you have a copy of the menu for the train? I am trying to decide about buying prepaid meals, but I'd like to know the regular menu prices. Hope you read this. Thanks
Naps Posted May 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Hello, Where did you find info about prepaid meals? We are booked GoldStar in June, but haven't seen anything about meals. Thanks!
