Cruiseline help

I have been reading the posts on this board for a couple of months now and have been taking notes and apologize if I missed this questions already being answered. Thank you to all who take the time to give input. We have been taking our two children who are 14 and 16 to all the United States and are down to Alaska. We are planning on going June 2013. We are expecting at least 4 other families to sign up with us which includes my parents who will be celebrating their 50th anniversary and my husbands parents and two sisters who each are bringing at least one child. I thought I was going to book on HAL because I liked their prices and where they were going, but found out yesterday that the balcony suites are being saved for Cruisetours. (Both sets of parents are set on getting a balcony since this will be their only visit to Alaska. Health reasons)

We do want to see the glaciers and will be going on a trip to Denali on our own either at the beginning or end or our cruise. Is there another cruise line who is as cost effective as HAL with the 3rd and 4th passengers if you are in the same cabin?
