Do you think we need reservations for Mr. Sanchos package?

We're going to do the all inclusive package at Mr. Sanchos this August. The place recommends saving our spot and making reservations ahead of time...but I don't know if this is necessary...especially because the port could end up getting cancelled and then we probably wouldn't get our money back im guessing. What are your thoughts? Would you recc reservations....does the place get super filled up?

We booked Mr. Sanchos for $45 per adult in advance with Shore Excursioneer / Cosumel Water sports. When we got there, it was sold at $50 per adult and shortly after arriving they turned down people as they only seem to accept a certain number of reservations to keep the beach from being crowded.
