RTgirl Posted July 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2012 Does anyone know how long before the cruise that they have all excursions available for booking? Right now we only show a total of 4!

JenniLynn Posted July 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2012 4 does seem low, but it does depend on which ship, and more importantly which ports. Many on these boards suggest booking independent tours, you do save money, but I just have a hard time relaxing and enjoying it because I am constantly thinking- What if... happens and we don't make it back to the ship? I spend the whole day planning for a contingency that probably won't happen... so I prefer to stay close to the ship or book with the cruise line... The extra $ is worth my piece of mind and being able to enjoy the day! That said, if there are only 4 now and there is one you might like, go ahead and book it. Booking through CCL allows you to change your mind if something new and more appealing shows up. Simply cancel the first and rebook the new. Easy! We've changed our minds before and were able to do it all right from our computer. It would be just as easy to do that if more excursions become available. You can even change your mind once you board the ship. The Shore Excursion desk team will gladly help you make changes if you find there is something you'd rather do after you board. Happy planning and enjoy your excursions!
