Vision of the Seas/Independence of the Seas

Need help: 10 day Vision of the Seas or 8 dayIndependence of the Seas. Pros/Cons. Thanks

DH and I were on Independence of the Sea 2 years ago on an 8 night cruise and absolutely loved it!! We didnt take advantage of Flow rider but enjoyed sitting with a frozen drink watching everyone wipe out :) I love the promenade on this ship and also Navigator of the Seas that we cruised on a year ago April. I would book either of these class ships in a heart beat... That being said We are booked on Vision of the Seas 11/23/12 Southern Caribbean this year. It was between Vision for 10 nights or Oasis for 7 nights with Oasis being about 70.00 per person more. Vision won out this time because other than St Martin we have not been to any ports on the itinerary and we get extra nights. So Itinerary.length of cruise won out over ship. I am a bit worried that I will be dissapointed with the ship due to the lack of amenities on it but we will see. I just keep telling myself we booked for ports of call not ship LOL.... And after all 10 nights at Sea definately beats 10 days at work :)
