Homer - Seldovia, Rainbow Tours

We were thinking of spending one of our Homer days checking out Seldovia with Rainbow tours. If you have done this how did you like it? Did you reserve this ahead of time or can you just book it when you are in Homer? Thanks

I have been to Seldovia twice, but via another ferry service. It is a wonderful "tour", and extremely scenic.

 

I did late book, with no problem. But, it may be a good idea to book ahead, if a cruiseship is in.

BQ, may I ask which ferry/tour you used? Would love to check out all of my options. I am only finding Rainbow and Kachemak Bay ferry. Both look good.

I took the Alaska state ferry one time, and the other, I've forgotten, was a Toursaver 2 for 1 at the time.
