Energy Drinks

My SO is not a big soda drinker, but he does drink 1-2 energy drinks a day. Can he bring these onboard instead of soda?

I did get harrased by security at check-in one time for bringing energy drinks on....

 

He took 5 minutes to lecture me on how dangerous they are for my heart.. I was like "thanks Dad".:)

 

Buy as stated, yes you can bring up to 12 each.

 

They also have Red Bull and Green Monster on-board (at least on my last sailing) - and you can buy energy drinks in port.

Only time I had a problem buying in port was last year in Barcelona, very small selection and with the conversion rate about $5 a can. Always try and take enough Monster Absolute Zeros for the cruise.

Had no idea they were so expensive in Europe, more than double the price in US. Only had 1 the 2 weeks we were gone!

Pepsi Max is a good, affordable energy drink if he likes cola.

It's contains a good dose of caffeine and some ginseng.

0 calories to boot.

I always bring my Monster Java 20oz coffee. I limit myself to 1 per day, never had a problem.

Those drinks are so bad for you, people have actually died from taking too much of these energy drinks. The only safe one out there (and it is actually good for your body) is 24K by Reliv International based out of St. Louis.

I just sailed on the Conquest 7/29 and they only had Rockstar energy drinks said they stopped carrying redbull about a month ago.

Energy drinks are soft drinks and fall within the Carnival rules of :A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 ounces each or less per person.
