Open air tour bus times

You can choose by the hour, the drivers are very helpful and can give you ideas on what to see that will interest you. A couple hours would cover many of the highlights, longer if you like history and old ruins, as well as the views and different bays. You can also get dropped at a beach or the Bananakeet for lunch and have the driver return. There is also a "rum tour" offered by Norwegian and othercruise kines that is highly rated on tripadvisor.

In march we took one of the open jeep buses waiting at the cruise terminal. As soon as they have a few passengers they leave. We ar bot 'crack of dawn' people either, so we were probably there around 10.00.

I can't remember if we paid 15 or 25USD, but it wasn't too expensive. It was a half day tip which we enjoyed. Try the 'painkillers' at the beach bar at Cane Garden Beach. We got 4 for 4 USD, must have been happy hour.
