Lv2Camp&Cruise Posted September 2, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 2, 2012 We have a Cove booked on the Dream but really loved our Lido balcony we had on the Liberty. We have toyed with the idea of moving to the Lido deck on the Dream for convenience and proximity to all the excitement. Is the cove balcony special enough to keep us or would you move? We booked Early Saver so it may cost us $50 to move in addition to the cost difference in cabins.
Twinswithtwins Posted September 2, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2012 Loved our Cove MUCH more than the 'regular' balconies we've had. Something about the coziness and the sound of the water rushing by. Seemed like we were in our 'own little world' instead of on a giant ship with 4000 other people. SO glad we did a cove. Lv2Camp&Cruise Posted September 2, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted September 2, 2012 We just called Carnival and made the move. Went from the Cove to the Lido, cabin 10265 which is just right around the corner from the pool! She honored the 3 day sale price and we were able to move for 160 total. The $50 fee to change was never mentioned. We are really exicted about the decision. With that many sea days we are pumped to be on the Lido! :D

We were steps away from the pool deck and buffet. When you leave your cabin, turn left until you come to a door on your right. Go out that door and you are at the "swishing" doors. Enjoy. mondello Posted September 2, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 2, 2012 You can upgrade under ES, just can't downgrade. Keep the cove next chance you get, they have a very loyal following among those who've tried them.
