NCL POA 2008 to 2012

In 2008 we cruised the POA. After reading so MANY sad reviews, we were not surprised by the outcome. I can't say how many times our service was dropped.. particularly in the food areas. The ship was then an NCL-A ownership with a primarily American staff. Nothing against that idea, but, service is really not in our culture, but we seem to always demand it.

All that being said, has has the service level increased since NCL took over the ship since 2008? Or, is that just my imagination? We have an opportunity to again sail the POA (both of these were group events and we will be in HI anyway).

Looking forward to some constructive input, and please no flaming on the service culture thing please, you all know what I'm talking about.

The America is still an NCLA ship. However, the American crew is well past the growing pains they experienced early on.

Our cruise aboard her last year remains one of our best ever and the fantastic crew was as much a reason as Hawaii itself. DH and I can't wait to sail her again.
