Frenchmen Hotel

Has anyone got information on the Frenchmen Hotel? I got a rate of $109/night for January 5-6 (2 night minimum). It is near Jackson Square and the French Market. It sounds nice from the web page and they have tried to resolve issues mentioned in reviews. Most reviews are positive.

Never stayed there, but we pass it often, and it looks very nice from the outside. It is actually about seven blocks from Jackson Square, but it is an easy walk.

 

There are some very good restaurants and some of our favorite music clubs within a couple of blocks of The Frenchmen.
