Dubrovniktravelady Posted September 14, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 14, 2012 Thank you. I saw a photo of the cloudy weather you are having(or had). I hope it is like this when we are there :) After months of soaring heat and humidity, the rain has been a welcome relief. October is normally a lovely month, but do bring your umbrella just in case. Any opinions on this restaurant are appreciated. Thank you Glad Dubrovniktravelady has confirmed its earlier hours. It is about 1000 feet just east of the Ploce gate. You can go to this website in order to see lots more about http://komarda.hr/index.php?lang=en Part of what their website notes is: "If you want to experience Dubrovnik in a special way, visit the restaurant Komarda and discover this unique terrace next to the sea. It is a secluded place where you enjoy perfect privacy in the shade of old pines, palms and fragrant Australian laurel." Below are some of my visuals for this scenic location, its food, offerings, etc. Hope this help get you ready and excited!! Super loved Dubrovnik!!! So wonderful. : Called Komarda, here are some examples of the various brands of wine produced in their own vineyards that they offer.: At Komarda, here is our waiter showing off some of the fresh fish option from which we could have selected.:

Rare TLCOhio Posted September 14, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 14, 2012 Thanks Dubrovniktravelady and Terry! I am super excited about Dubrovnik :D. Thanks for all your info on the other threads also. Sounds like you've got a great, exciting cruise upcoming. Wonderful to be going out of and returning to charming Barcelona. Lots of great stops in Monaco, Livorno, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples/Amalfi, Dubrovnik and Venice that we did last year. Super places. Below is a little more on Venice, if that's helpful. Let us know any other question. Good luck!! Since Venice is one of your key stops, you might look at this earlier posting that I did on the Italy board that shows many options and visual potentials for this city that is so great for "walking around", personally sampling the great history and architecture. This posting has now had over 14,720 views and I appreciate those who have dropped by and tuned in. Don’t be shy in sharing any questions or comments.
