After months of soaring heat and humidity, the rain has been a welcome relief. October is normally a lovely month, but do bring your umbrella just in case.

Did a June 7-19, 2011, Solstice cruise from Barcelona that had stops in Villefranche, ports near Pisa and Rome, Naples, Kotor, Venice and Dubrovnik. Enjoyed great weather and a wonderful trip. Sounds like you've got a great, exciting cruise upcoming. Wonderful to be going out of and returning to charming Barcelona. Lots of great stops in Monaco, Livorno, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples/Amalfi, Dubrovnik and Venice that we did last year. Super places. Below is a little more on Venice, if that's helpful.
