SandS204ever Posted September 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2012 Ok so the wife and I will be in Cabo mid December. We both love to Jetski and have a couple at home we play with all summer. We would like to know what the water is like at Medono Beach, is there waves that you can ride in, or do you have to go out past the break into the calmer water? We are hoping that we are allowed to use them in the Surf as we feel this would be a fun change over the river we ride on at home. Also for parasailing will we have any problem finding a vendro on the beach for that as well? Maybe the same company will do both and we can get a package deal :D
downsized Posted September 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 14, 2012 There are lots of vendors at Medano Beach that offer jet skis. Waves? Not too much (depending on the ocean conditions), but you can jet out to the Arch, view (and land at) Lover's Beach. The area around Cabo is really good for jet skis, sailing, or even paddle boards. Para sailing is quite prevalent, as well. I would suggest grabbing a water taxi to Medano (about $2US pp), or even grabbing a water cab for a tour of the Arch, Lover's Beach, Divorce Beach, Pelican Rock, and then having them drop you off at Medano. (about $10-12US pp). That way, you can get your bearings, then rent your jet skis. The cost for jet skis is about the same from any of the dozen vendors on Medano. Just do a careful "walk-around", and point out any dings or scratches before you accept the rentals.

When doing the check on the jet skis, I would take pictures of any scratches and dings in addition to pointing them out to the vendor.
SadieN Posted September 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 15, 2012 Almost all of the surf has people in it.
