Taste of Belize????

Has anyone done the Taste of Belize excursion with the Coral Breeze Tours? If so, what did you think of it? Really not interested in cave tubing or ruins...so thought this might be good. Let me know, leave on cruise Nov. 18!

Don't think anyone has done the Taste of Belize tour by Coral Breeze ..can't find anything on the internet about it except for the Coral Breeze web site.

I did send an email asking what time this tour leaves and returns will post reply here when I get it.

 

However, I would still like some input from someone who has actually done the tour

Just received email back from coral breezes.

 

Taste of Belize tour starts at 9:30 and last about 3.5 hrs.

 

Can someone confirm that Belize is one hour behind the ships time? So that would be 10:30 - 2:00

What exactly is the "taste"? anything to do with food or just sightseeing?

I think Belize time is comparable to US Central time - i.e. 1 hour earlier than Eastern Standard Time which will be in effect in December.

 

Also it is my understanding that ship time always refers to the local time.

Ship time is local time???? I always thought that the ship stayed on the same time regardless of the time in the port. Can anyone confirm this???

Last spring, when we cruised on NCL, the Spirit changed to port time each day so that there would be no confusion about excursion times.

Typically the local tour operators know which cruise lines change to local time and which stay on homeport time, and tell you the tour time based on the ship's time. Better to confirm that with the tour operator in advance though.
