domenic Posted April 26, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Any suggestions? I am planning a cruise with about 6-10 families. Each family with have kids ranging in age from one year to 10 years old. My wife and I have cruised on Royal Carribean Explorer and Navigator w/o kids. Any cruise line and ship suggestions? We are looking to sail sometime next spring/ summer Domenic
serene56 Posted April 26, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2004 Royal and Carnival are good for good. DIsney is also good but there is no casino and no smoking in the cabins at all. Carnival takes the kids for their camp at age 2 and Royal takes kids at age 3- needs to be potty trained. Any line your kids sail on im sure they will have a ball. SOmetimes when booking a cruise for that many people..every 8 cabins you get a free berth (thats one person free) When you book as a group when the price comes down any you may not get that discount. Something to look at when ready to book. tinsel57 Posted April 30, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2004 How about hiring a couple of nannies to take with you. Split the cost between families and you all can have some off adult time while the nannies supervise the kids. My parents did this when I was little, worked great. We had a wonderful time and so did they.Oh, and my baby brother was born 9 months later, so I'd say they had a better time than I did tinsel57
