We have had this happen a couple of times too. It is very disappointing when your favorite port is cancelled.

My normal cruise day routine. Up between 5:00 am-5:30 am, 1 hour nap after lunch, unless on excursion, then up until around 12:am in casino. Sounds like a lot, but total hours not too much. LOL

Carnival doesn't enforce the smoking rules in the casino either. There were plenty of people smoking on non-smoking machines in the Fascination casino. I just got off Fascination yesterday. It was so smoky in the casino I had to get up and move several times.

 

I also noticed that the ship is showing wear. I agree it was very clean though. The staff were all very friendly and helpful except in the casino. The male casino hosts were downright grouchy. Not sure what was up with them.

CCL doesn't enforce many of their rules. Although I do smoke, it can get real smoky in the casino, and bother even me. I no longer smoke in casino at slots or the tables. I get up and go to the Casino bar, have a cigarette with the other smokers, then back to casino. Sorry you had that problem with casino staff, as I did not experience that. Smooth sailings in the future.
