Hello, I just put a hold on the Independence for March of 2014 and trying to decide whether or not to book. I was able to hold cabin 1400, which is an aft wrap balcony. I have never had one of these before, and would really like to see some pictures of the inside of the room as it appears to be a weird shape, as well as the balcony as I believe it has obstructed views. Can anyone share some pictures with me? :)We would have 4 people in the cabin, so wanted to see the layout for that reason. I believe that all Freedom class ships (FOS, LOS, IOS) have the same layout for these 2 cabins, 1400 and 1700, so pictures from any of the ships would be great!! Thanks so much for your help!

You scored BIG! We had 1400 on FOS in January and it was awesome! I can post pics when I get home tonight.

Awesome! Glad to hear it is a great cabin. I would love to see your pictures! Thanks for helping out!

We have 1400 on Independence in January...I will take lots of photos! We also will have 4 in the cabin- it looks much wider, more like a JS!

That's great that you have this cabin coming up soon!! I was a bit concerned that there is no pullman bed, so 2 have to sleep on the pull out sofa bed. Take some pictures of that bed when you go!! Thanks!

It basically is a JS, only without the bathtub and walk in closet :)

I absolutely will take bunch of photos and will post when I return. My kids are not thrilled with sharing a sofa bed, but oh well. I think it will be fine- and we won't be in the room very much!

If you want more let me know, I have 1400 on the Liberty and I hunted down photos. I hove a pic of the couch made up I am just trying to find it. For me there is enough room, but we are used to camping. If you don't think it will be enough room I have seen where people bring a air mattress. I might do that just incase, my daughter actually wants to sleep on it anyway, go figure.

If you can find the picture of the couch made up, that would be very helpful! I agree, we camp occasionally too, and my boys share an air mattress then, so they should be fine on the sofa bed!!

Here is a link to to bed made up. I am still trying to find the one I have with someone actually laying on the made up bed to give you a better idea. Figures when I want the photo I can't find it, but when I am looking for something else that is the only photo I can find, errrr.
