Tips at all inclusives

My family of 4, with 2 children ages 11 and 13 are planning on a AI day and I am wondering how you determine how much you tip? Is it a percentage of admission, 20% for us would be $40 or do you base it on number of trips the waiter makes. Any help is appreciated.

Maybe I am wrong, but $40 seems to be a lot. I usually give the waiter a couple of dollars each time , and if they are good , a little more for the last drink.This is just two of us.

We tip 15-20% of the total fare - sometimes split between the waiter and bartender. $40 for 4 of you does not seem outrageous to me. Good luck! :)
