Navigator, White Wall or Regular Verandah

On the Disney Magic, which is best?

All availble for about the same price, a few white wall cabins on aft of deck six with larger balcony. What's the pro's and cons.

We'd preffer privacy to sunshine..

If you're looking for privacy, the navigator verandah is more private. It's like an enclosed porch with a large open porthole.

The white wall vs the regular verandah means that the wall below the railing on the verandah is a solid wall, not a plexiglass (see-through) one.

:)

AFAIK, one of the walls (side wall) has a navigators map on it.

Here's link to a picture, use the >> arrow to scan through the pictues:

I would still go for the Larger open balcony.

We have a verandah on every cruise and even the largest ones feel slightly enclosed.

For 50% of each day you will not be in the sun, which ever way the ship is going, the sun will be on one side am and the other pm.

Now the sun also has to be at an angel to get onto your verandah, if its high the roof, /deck above will give you shade, it has to be early morning, or late afternoon to get directly in.

Navigators in my opinion get too enclosed, they get the 'heat' humidity trapped, so get hotter and hotter, but an open one with some breeze feels fresh.

I like an early morning cupper on the balcony or watching us go into and out of port, and room service just looking at the sea, sea life and land if there is some.

You get quite a lot of privacy on each verandah and people tend to keep themselves to themselves, having said that we have had nice neighbours say hello and introduce themselves.

Try to go to the middle of the ship for least movement, so navigators are aft and you get more movement there, and that may not be nice.

Deck 6 on the Magic is really great, its above the middle of the ship where the kids clubs are, and therefore quite and below other staterooms, easy access up and down not far too the pools, but your not under any bars, entertainment areas or above any engines, for noise or vibration. Ensure your not near a laundry.
