drinking age

Hi, is there any cruise line that has a gambling and drinking age of 18 instead of 21? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Beer and wine for 18 on Royal.(can gamble too) Carnival is 21 to drink 18 to gamble.
Both these lines must be 21 or have someone traveling with you that is 25.
I dont know Princess, Norweign or Disney rules. Sorry

On RCI, you can drink wine or beer at 18, and use the casino (with written parent permission). However, you must be 21 to book independently. If you're under 21, you must have a cabinmate who's at least 25. Carnival - 21 to book and drink, 18 to use the casino. On Disney and Princess, you can book independently at 18. Not sure about the drinking, though. Disney ships don't have casinos. On Norwegian, if you're under 21, your cabinmate only has to be 21. No drinking until 21, though.

I see your question has been answered. Beer and wine are allowed on RCL. I think that is why we had the drunk college students on Sovereign.

So many complain about Carnival being a "party" ship but they allow no alcohol under 21. Usually too the irresponsible partiers are young-I think it has to do the older we get the more mature and less apt to want those hang-overs for a few hours of stupidity. I for one feel Carnival is doing the smart thing.
