Webcam?

I am wondering why Silversea do not have webcams on their ships & in turn on their websites like most other Lines?

Perhaps a clue to the quality of their on-board internet connection?

I should have thought of that! I was recently on the Whisper & it was so terribly slow whether at sea or in port it made no difference. I used my iPhone instead it was much quicker!

Silversea doesn't seem to be "into" technology like other cruiselines.

 

I was most impressed when I went to Crystal's Priority Check-in & Planning Center for next year's cruise. U can pretty much organise everything, spa appointments, dinner reservations, excursions, credit card details to bill to etc. They also have webcam.

 

Now if only SS would get with the times:rolleyes:

An onboard computerised restaurant booking system would be a start. it would stop abuses such as people booking THREE different venues for dinner on the same evening and deciding at a later date which one to use!

The scruffy paper system used is way out of date.
