boogs Posted November 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2012 Any chance of a bridge tour on the Summit ? Maybe. We were invited to the bridge on our South American cruise on Infinity and again on our Baltic cruise on Constellation. On Infinity we asked at the customer service desk if we could get an invitation, and a few days later, there it was on our door! On Constellation, everyone attending the Connections gathering was invited. However, on our Reflection cruise last month they weren't allowing anyone to visit because the "ship was too new" and supposedly the crew was still getting used to her controls. Here are photos from the Infinity.

judatt Posted November 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2012 We were on the Summit last summer to Bermuda. When we attended our cc reception the subject of a tour of the bridge came up and we indicated we would like to participate. A couple of days later we received an invitation with some very specific instructions as to what we were expected to do and where we were to be. It was great. The second in command gave the tour and was very informative. Other officers came and went and at the end the captain came in and spent about 10 minutes or so with us. Very personable and it was a great event for us. It was on our last sea day prior to disembarkation in Bayonne.
caribophile Posted November 28, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted November 28, 2012 Sounds terrific. Now that I know, I'll be sure to ask. Thanks for the advice!
Linda-E Posted November 28, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 28, 2012 There were none on our Summit cruise in October. We asked several people including the captain's club host (awful!), guest relations manager (very helpful) and an officer at the select/elite party. The only bridge tour available was the $149 all access tour that also included the engine room and more. Galley tour was offered the first sea day and backstage tour for select/elite. Dizney Posted November 28, 2012 #7 Share Posted November 28, 2012 We asked the concierge and were allowed on Infinity. It was awesome. :) Got to see whales breach the water as we exited the tour.
