Best Escargot and other local food?

Love the local flavor would like a great place to go have the best of the island don't matter if its a hole in the wall.

We've not been yet, but plan to go to Grand Case and try one of the LOLOs (Locally Operated, Locally Owned).

 

You might swing over to TripAdvisor and check it out there. I'm sure they have plenty of suggestions!

Grand Case is THE cuisine capital of the Carib. For escargot and excellent dining there are some excellent restaurants, just check the menus or read reviews on TA. The LOLOs are great for the local fare, you could eat at them every night!

For something closer to the dock there are tons of places, check TA to see what interests you. But yes, GC is the best area, we've also enjoyed excellent baguette subs and queche for lunch in Marigot by the marina. Names escape me now, sorry! But TA is the best source for restaurants and local fare.
