Shortly after this celebration the exhaustion of the day set in and we knew we needed to get up early for HMC. So back to the cabin with our bad selves for beauty sleep so we look all purty for our un-weddin. Yee haw!

We got up early in the morning so that we could meet up with Pinkfloydfan to do priority tendering which was very generous. Thanks Pink! We were to meet him in the atrium at 8:00am so as I packed our bags and un-wedding props the Andrew went to lido for a cigarette. He ran into...

...miss ilovetheislands in a lovely dress. I want it!

I dropped off our stuff at the table on lido and went to make us a quick plate from the buffet and fill up my water bottle with juice for our beach drinks. I made a plate of breakfast for us to share.

The little egg quesidillas were phenomenal even though it was just a simple egg and cheese combo.

We gathered in the atrium and met up with Pink & COJO's group of cabana folks.

The lady came to escort us downstairs and we were the first tender to leave after the crew's tender.

I was so worried that we would miss this port, but the fates were with us and we boarded the tender with absolutely no issues.

We waved goodbye to the crew and ZOOM!!! We were on our way. It was probably a five minute ride to the little pier inside the cove.

It was about this time that I realized I had failed to charge my camera the night before and the battery was almost exhausted. Really??!! My favorite port and I forget to charge the battery? WTH??

Here are a few pics from the tender looking at the ship. Even though Fantasy is the oldest/smallest ship you still cant help but feel small when you are in a little boat right next to it.

Hooray Half Moon Cay!

525_zps4eb5ad81.jpg

We walked into the welcome area to find out exactly what mode of transportation would carry the cabana folks to their cabanas. I was also struggling with the reality of my camera battery dying and trying to get as many pics in that I could before it died completely.

While we waited, I ran into fellow Fantasy Girls BananaAnna and daughter.

Someone looks ready for an UN-wedding.

There were transport vehicles that will drive you to your cabana if you have one. We tagged along and no one seemed to mind. We would have walked.

Here is a shot of the transport vehicle behind the one we are in

And then...we are finally here...in paradise. And there is hardly a sould even here.

We set up camp on a lounger in front of Pink's cabana and Smokey4U's cabana.

How fitting that Pink got a pink cabana. It appears they are also building some two story cabanas also.

The pirate bar was not here when we came in 2007 so it was pretty neat to see.

I love seeing the ship out there. Something about it.

The Fantasy Girls all did Christmas hat photos with Merry Christmas written in the sand and we spent some time together before the UN-wedding ceremony began.

So by now you may be asking yourself, "what in the world is Nancy talking about with this UN-wedding nonsense". I will tell you! The Andrew and I have been together for 9 years and while I love him very much, I dont plan on getting married again. (did that for 12 years and it was not fun). When we were planning this cruise we remembered how much we loved Half Moon Cay and jokingly made references to getting unmarried here and basically just having a cool photo opportunity in front of the majority of the ship's passengers. The fact that the date was 12/12/12 made it even cooler and decided to start taking these pics at 12:12pm.

540_zpsb99b1efb.jpg

Initially we wanted to have the UN-ceremony in front of the church but once we got to the island we realized the logistics didnt work. So we decided to do it in front of the pirate bar instead. This actually made perfect sense anyway.

We knew that we wanted to stand there with Pink as our UN-officiant, take a few pics and then the Andrew would run into the ocean as if he were swimming away from me as fast as he could. That was to be the extent of it. Little did we know that our plans would change...for the better. :D

I was able to borrow a dress from a fellow Fantasy Girl which was floor (sand) length and a lovely lavendar color. As I changed into the dress the Andrew was having a beer in the pirate bar and luckily there was a guy in there (Matthew) who reminded him "hey man you are about to miss your un-wedding dammit. Go get your girl". So he did and we walked up to the beach in front of the bar and the Andrew went to the bar to get our UN-officiant.

I will pause here because naturally I have no pictures since my camera died and it's difficult to take unwedding photos of oneself. Smokey4U has agreed to insert a few pics for us. I will resume posts after these pics show get posted.

OMG. I made it into the review not once, but twice. I was kinda mortified when The Andrew stopped me on lido to take photo of me in my mu-mu but if I didn't want anyone to see me walking around the ship in my house dress, I would have gotten "dressed" before leaving my cabin. :D

BTW - These caftans are really hard to find. However, I did see them at the little area right off the ship in Freeport when I was there in October. I didn't look at the prices then. Little did I know that we would pack them in our carry-on which later we would leave at Port of Charleston. (Yes, I got it back) but I was definitely in mourning.

My lovely Aunt who lives in Mexico sent me (us) a package which contained 8 new caftans. Love her. All us girls quickly called which ones we wanted and I am now sporting a lovely new purple and gold print caftan.

ilovetheislands, Certainly glad you got your bag back. Angie said to tell you and your mother and brother hello. Our baby girl just got home yesterday.:) Pink

I can't wait for your review either. Your photo review of the Fantasy was also a big factor in my deciding to book my first (but not only) Fantasy cruise in 2013.

Oh, yeah - Go Tar Heels!! (Class of 2003, representing!)

Thank-You....I will get mine up and going after the craziness of Christmas calms down ;)

Its so funny that even though we didn't meet butwe seemed to be in your locations so close...

1)I danced on stage both times and at the lido party and conga line.

2)We saw Pink and a group dancing at the party...now that I see photos it was you guys...we sat very close.

3)I saw the un-wedding thinking it was an actual ceremony.

Posting to subscribe. The review of your Fantasy cruse in March is what finally pushed me over the edge into finally booking. I can't wait to read this review!

Thanks for reading! Oh, and I have been known to push people over the edge to do many things. :p;) It's a gift!

And I fear I may appear in one of these pics lol

You, my dear, will be making cameo appearances. I did choose not to put the picture on of us dancing the wobble and the pattern on your dress made you look like you had a target on your posterior. :D

You are going to have a spectacular time. I wish I were sailing again soon.

Enjoying this review just as well as your last review, glad your stash made it on the ship this time...lol.:D

Thanks for reading about all our silly adventures! We actually overpacked our stash this time just in case one of our methods failed. We ended up sharing our stash with our new friends.

Love this review and can't wait for the rest of it! :) (It is also making me insanely jealous that our roll call is so quiet - would have loved to have been on your ship!)

Thanks willow! Our roll call was a fun group and was so happy to have met so many of them onboard. Even the first hour we boarded!

Yeah loving the review. had such a great time and now get to relive so much of it

We really enjoyed spending time with you guys!
