My wife and I were on the same cruise and agree complete ly with your comments. We too missed the escargot but also missed the Baked Alaska parade. The alternate baked alaska dessert was good but not asw good as gthe origijnal Q. We have sailed HAL over 130 days and have never been disappointed.

The wine stewards no longer handle drinks by the glass, even wine. Your table steward does that. So, unless you were ordering a bottle, you would not encounter the wine steward.

We had two good wine stewards. They rotated them to different stations after our first cruise. We order bottles of wine each night unless we have some left from the previous night. While a few that were on the menu were not in stock, the wine stewards gave us prompt and friendly, efficient service. Our whole dining team was good. :)
