Jo and Rob Posted January 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2013 When you book online do you prepay immediately (like Celebrity) or do you pay when on board (like P&O) ?
JezzaC Posted January 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2013 Those are charged on your on board account.
Jo and Rob Posted January 6, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 6, 2013 Those are charged on your on board account. Does this mean you can change your mind and cancel without penalty before you board?
JezzaC Posted January 7, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 7, 2013 There is 9 days time limit before the departure for cancellations / changes. Copy-paste from our pre-booking confirmation: "Please remember that you can add or remove items in your cart up to nine (9) days before departure. For example if your departure date is April 18th, you can add/remove items in your shopping cart until April 9th. After this deadline and once onboard, change requests will not be accepted neither for tours, nor for special services and any cancellation will be subject to a cancellation fee." Edit: And haven't found out what is the cancellation fee which is mentioned on the confirmation However during our MSC Fantasia cruise we actually changed one shore excursion (booked on board) and then there wasn't any cancellation fee in that case, however there was also time limit (if I remember correct one day before the city etc). So there are different rules for pre-bookings and bookings on board.
