johnlcd Posted June 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2005 Hi everybody, In response to the many queries I have had , the following is the latest info that I have from the Swedish Visitors Bureau with regard to the June 6th holiday. The attractions will be open as normal i.e the Vasa Museum will open from 10am to 5pm. The shops will open as Sunday hours ,so depending on the store they will either open from 10, 11 or noon until around 4pm. The trains from Nynashamn will run on a Sunday schedule, 7 minutes past the hour. The City Hall will close at 12.30 pm with the last tour at noon as they have a citizenship ceremony in the afternoon. The public parks will have various family events happening with a medieval market at the Hagglesby peoples park. Main event taking place will be at Skansen where the Royal family is scheduled to appear. Should be a fun day.
