Most but not all Provinces have a holiday on the 1st Monday in August. Here in British Columbia it is called B.C. Day. Nothing special just a long weekend to get away in the Summer. Is this the information you wanted or is there more that you want/need?

In New Brunswick it's "New Brunswick Day" strangely enough. I seem to recall it's called "Natal Day" in Nova Scotia, but that may just be a Halifax thing. Any particular reason for asking derf?
