tendering in Belize

What is your experience in Tendering in Belize. We will be booking a non-NCL excursion and want to make sure that we will make it to our meeting point on time.

Tendering is always a PIA and it takes time.

We don't get in a hurry.

Someone would have to go get in the tender tickets line early if you need an early number. Also, the tender ride is a bit longer in Belize because of the ships anchored further out from the port. However, the tour operators are well aware of the tender issues and should have their tours planned accordingly.

They usually start giving tender tickets about 7:30am so get your tickets ASAP if you have a morning excursion. NCL tour participants can get in tender line with just their tour ticket close to their tour time. They have preference.

 

In Belize the lifeboats are not used as tenders. Belize tender boats are used instead.
