Port of Fort Lauderdale to Port of Miami

Does anyone have any recommendations for transportation from the Port of Fort Lauderdale to the Port of Miami? We are disembarking a ship in Fort Lauderdale and embarking on a ship in Miami, the same day.

We contacted SAS Transportation but they no longer service Port Everglades.

Thanks, David

  1. Taxi for about $85+
  2. Larry's Limos or Holland limo for just under cab fare
  3. Shuttle service from Quality Limo Service (QLS) or Go Airport Shuttle
  4. You could rent a car, do some shopping on the way; National, Alamo and Thrifty offer free shuttles to POM from their MIA airport location.

Good luck! :)

Wow! A thread from 4+ years ago! Welcome to the boards!

The Tri-Rail train is what you are referring to - it does run from FLL (actually from West Palm to the north) to MIA and the fare would be under $5, but then you are still a $27 cab ride or under $20 Uber from POM - and getting from PE to FLL will cost you $10-15+ for Uber/Taxi.

Uber from port to port - not available WAY back in 2013 - will cost about $35+ for the car.

Getting off Harmony OTS then going to POM to board MSC. Can i get Uber and what is estimated cost? Normally would rent a car. Too much hassle in Miami to turn car in and get shuttle to port. Thanks!

You can get estimates on uberestimate.com. Don't know how many people/bags you have, so use that to get a good idea. Shouldn't have any issues getting one and will be pretty reasonable pricewise.
