First Cruise on Freedom...white noise machine and outlets?

We will be cruising on Freedom on April 14 and is it true that there is only one outlet in the room? And the outlet in the bathroom is for electric razors only?

I can't plug in my hair straightener in the bathroom then?

 

And I sleep with a white noise machine at home. Should I definitely bring it along? I have hear that the ship itself makes its own "white noise" and it won't be necessary to bring my machine.

 

We are staying on the 7th deck and from what I hear we won't hear bar or chair noise at all.

 

Any insights?

HI,yes it is true of outlets,there are 2 in room,one by bed,one by the mirror on the desk area,I WOULD go ahead and bring noise machine,and maybe a 3 way plug,to give you some extra outlets,you should be safe on deck seven,i was on six,and could hear music till 12:30/1:00 am,have a great time and enjoy:p;)

I bring a small four outlet powerstrip and my noise machine.
