Gambling on The Dawn

When does the casino open on the Dawn. I know casinos are closed when the ship is in port but being that the Dawn is making two stops in Florida, do they wait until they leave Miami to the Bahamas in order to open the casino or is the casino open from NY to Fla?

The casino opens about two hours after sailing or after the ship is 3 miles into international waters, I believe. It closes when in port of Canaveral and reopens that evening, closes in Miami and reopens after sailing. Get the picture. If you leave a port late at night, it usually reopens at 8:00 AM the next morning. A sign is posted outside the casino and it is listed in the dallies.

For some reason I thought maybe since they didn't allow gambling on the Hawaii Ships then the same might apply until we leave Miami. It's good to know that I can now give NCL more of my money. Actually the last cruise I took with them paid me quite nicely.
