dirvin0500 Posted January 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2013 We've sailed out of Port Canaveral a couple of times and stayed at the Residence Inn. Good location, free breakfast and we can park there. Over the last two years they have gone crazy on their prices. Any comparable suggestions???? Most all the hotels I am aware of that offer parking only do so if you book a park and cruise rate. The port really jacked up their fees for each van load that comes in now so the days of booking an rate and getting free parking at a hotel I think are extinct. We stay at either the Country Inn & Suites or the Radisson....had good experiences at both.

dreamer976 Posted January 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Free parking at LaQuinta in Hollywood. Sorry, wrong port. Your post said Port Canaveral and my "almost time to cruise" brain said Port Everglades.

Good location, free breakfast and we can park there. Over the last two years they have gone crazy on their prices. Any comparable suggestions???? We typically stay at Country Inn and suites and have paid about $125 per night with transportation to cruise port. However when we looked tonight the price had gone up SIGNIFICANTLY!!! We looked around online and decided to book the comfort inn near Ron Jon; they also offer transport to cruise port and parking with stay and we saved about $60!!! aria48 Posted January 22, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 22, 2013 The Econolodge (which I wouldn't recommend) and Best Western (know nothing about) both still offer free parking with any rate according to www.parkingstay.com . Most others require you to purchase a package to get the parking.
dd's mom Posted January 22, 2013 #7 Share Posted January 22, 2013 We just booked a room (with a park & cruise package) at Comfort Inn & Suites at Cocoa Beach (which also has a hot breakfast and transportation to and from the port) ... for about the same that it would cost just to park at the port. We've never stayed here before ... hope it turns out well.
Suntanz Posted January 22, 2013 #8 Share Posted January 22, 2013 We stayed at the Comfort Inn two years ago & didn't care for it. We are trying the Radisson this time.
