barcrab Posted January 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2013 Can anyone give me any insight to category C staterooms on Marina?
Dutch Explorers Posted January 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2013 We stayed in a c outside cabin on Marina. Are you looking for particular info? It is a really nice cabin and the same size as a veranda cabin without the veranda of course :)
barcrab Posted January 22, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 22, 2013 I suspected that it was same without the veranda. It looks like the view is unobstructed and mid ship. We are considering a British Isles cruise and so do not feel the veranda is necessary considering the cool and many times rainy weather!

On the Marina, those cabins are filled with light, and the floor to ceiling window (to me) makes the entire stateroom "feel" larger than it really is. Although that window does not open, a railing protects the lower portion, giving a Juliet Balcony effect which effectively eliminates ANY sense of vertigo. oceanbill457 Posted January 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 22, 2013 We sailed on Marina the summer of 2011. These cabins are quite comfortable and very convenient to all venues. You will love Marina.
CintiPam Posted January 23, 2013 #6 Share Posted January 23, 2013 We sailed in an Oceanview C cabin on Marina for a Scandinavian cruise in June 2011 and loved this room. I am a queasy sailor so mid-ships is great for me, and I knew we would spend no time on this port-intensive cruise on a balcony. As Jim states in his post above, there is tons of light and the cabin really feels big. Enjoy your cruise! I loved Marina, and hope to find a Riviera itinerary for 2014 that I like.
