jamies78 Posted January 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2013 Hello, We are booking the Solstice for Alaska in August 2013. It goes Seattle to Seattle. What side of the ship would be best for our balcony room on this sailing to see the sights?? Thanks in advance for the help!
CruiserShannon Posted January 31, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2013 Hi, I have done 9 cruises to AK from Vancouver and one from Seattle. It is really a toss up but if you want to see the west coast of Vancouver Island on your way to Victoria on the return then choose a PORT side cabin. When you are in Alaska there is so much to see on both sides of the ship you might decide to sit in the forward lounge so you can take it all in at the same time!! Cheers, Shannon from metro Vancouver BC
jerrysnj Posted February 1, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2013 I was wondering the same thing. We booked a port side room and was hoping we made the right choice.
Rare MicCanberra Posted February 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 1, 2013 For the best panoramic views, topside is best, rug up as it can get windy and cool.:D
