Cruise doesn't show up on search

I think I have found the cruise that I would like to book. I have gone to a couple of local websites and the one I am searching for doesn't show up. However, it is available on the cruise lines web page as well as some online agencies. What does this mean? Do I have to go through an online agency or the cruise line directly?

What cruiseline and what ship? Also, is it a charter/special group?

Sorry, wasn't sure if I was supposed to give details...It's Princess Star, Round Trip Alaskan Cruise to include Glacier Bay, Aug 17th departure. I have called a local TA and am waiting for a return call.

Okay, I see it on Princess' website. Where else were you hoping to find it? If it's on Princess then there shouldn't be a problem with any TA booking for you. Just be sure to either use a local travel agent that is very well versed in cruises - and in Princess line in particular. If you use an online agency be sure that the credit card changes go to PRINCESS - and not the agency.

If I see something that I am interested in -- but not on all sites -- I just contact my TA and have her check it out.

Not all online agencies will list everything. Sometimes you just have to ask questions no matter who you want to deal with.
